Windows 8.1 已在美國 Microsoft Store 上預購，台灣還得再等等

Windows 8.1 和 Windows 8.1 Pro 已在美國 Microsoft Store 上架。

再過 2 星期即將在 10 月 18 日正式上市，而目前在 Microsoft Store 使用者已經可以在美國

預購 Windows 8.1 和 Windows 8.1 Pro，不過目前台灣的 Microsoft 仍未上架。

Windows 8.1 包含許多使用者所希望擁有的更新，像是加回 Start 按鈕，傳統和 Windows 8 UI 桌面同步、無線顯示器和許多個人化選項等，另外也支援螢幕更小的手持裝置，讓 7 吋平板也可以採用 Windows 系統。

Microsoft 將免費提供 Windows 8.1 給 Windows 8 的使用者更新，不過如果想從較舊的系統升級，或是完全重新安裝新電腦，則必須付費購買。Windows 8.1 建議售價為新台幣 4,199 元，而 Windows 8.1 Pro 的建議售價則為 6,999 元。
