《ZDNet》報導，消息來源指出，先前釋出代號為 Windows Blue 為 Windows 8 的刷新版本，預計今年 8 月將正式向製造商發表，而這款 Blue 將是 Windows 8 系列的一支，並非先前傳出的 Windows 9，屆時也會釋出 Windows RT 8.1。
最新傳言指出，微軟即將推出的 Windows 更新版，將會包含許多新功能例如，個人化的 live Tiles、改進後的快照功能。預計今年六月微軟就會公開推出，8 月釋出至各製造商夥伴。
